6.1 Design Model Quality Control

Designers and Project Managers are responsible for using the Joint RID Review Checklist and Index.xlsm as a tool during the development of the design. A copy of the Joint RID Review Checklist and Index.xlsm should be submitted by the Project Manager into the Supporting Documents>RID Preparation folder in accordance with the RID Process outlined in Chapter 5. Designers and Project Managers should also check for spikes, gaps, content, constructability, and conformity to the Plan Set submittal, which will also be considered during the RID Review process.
