Effective with the February 6, 2015, letting and beyond, a special provision will be placed in all projects that will allow the use of conduits listed and appropriately labeled by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), as recognized by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The conduit specification requirements have not changed, this change simply allows other NRTLs to test and certify the conduit to Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) standards.
